ECONYL® is made from recycled waste. For example, fishing nets, carpet remnants and so-called "pre-consumer waste" - i.e. leftovers that arise during the production process. These nylon remnants can be melted down and spun again. Through a cleaning process, this nylon achieves the same purity as conventional nylon and therefore has exactly the same properties.
In the shop you can also find the matching Seraflex thread for the ECONYL® fabrics in ash rosé, smoke pine and black. With this thread you can sew elastic seams on your normal household sewing machine and a straight stitch.
